Built for Indian families.
By an Indian family.
Vipindev and Sreedevi started Zarevia in Milton Keynes because the ingredients they grew up with in Kerala weren't available anywhere nearby. At least not fresh.
Why we started
Vipindev and Sreedevi are a Malayali couple who moved to the UK and settled in Milton Keynes. Like most Indian families here, they quickly ran into the same problem: you can find curry leaves in the big supermarkets, but they're dry and brittle. The coriander has no smell. The raw mangoes are wrong. The coconut oil tastes nothing like what you get back home.
So they built Zarevia. The idea was simple: partner with British farmers for seasonal produce, and source the staples (the spices, the lentils, the pickles, the things you can't compromise on) directly from trusted suppliers in India. Fresh, fast, no cold-store shortcutting.
It started as something for their neighbours and the Indian community around Milton Keynes. It's growing into something bigger, because it turns out a lot of families across the UK have been waiting for exactly this.
Zarevia. Run by a family, for families. No corporate middlemen. Just good food that tastes the way it's supposed to.
Good food shouldn't be this hard to find
If you've ever cooked a Kerala dish with UK supermarket ingredients and it just didn't taste right, you know exactly why Vipindev and Sreedevi built this.
